OH MY GOD!! How much fun have I had this weekend. But let's go back a bit first.

So, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday were all very wet. The storms here are unbelievable and I really am quite fed up of rain - of course, the one good thing is that it might be pouring outside but it's still hot!!

Friday night Ian and I joined Rhonda at the Kelly Services Gold Coast, Temp Xmas Party!! Talk about feeling like it was home from home!! I will say their temps are a lot nicer than any that have ever worked for me!! They are all so friendly, and I just spent the evening drinking free champagne and mingling with the Kelly Workforce!!

So then it's Saturday. My trip out on the Harley Davidson!! Well I met Kevin at the local footie club and we took off - was I scared? Is the pope catholic?! I was petrified. This bike was huge but Kev was soo soo lovely and just made me feel really relaxed. He tried to tell me that by the time we got on the highway I would have my hands just resting on my knees and be enjoying it - not a chance I thought!! But as he had said, I did relax into it - and it just has to be the BEST way to travel in the sun. Jeans, And a little top, shades and a helmet cruising down the east coast towards Byron Bay!! We went via Tweed Coast which was just amazing and covered in very tanned and talented surfers (Male & Female I hasten to add!!), and then continued down the highway to Byron. The views are amazing and I have some fab photos - will upload them when I get a chance!! So we chilled out, sat opposite the sea at this fab pub where a band were playing and then went swimming and then had more to drink and in the end decided that we should just stay so I could experience Byron by Night!! Well, it was just the epitomy of Australia - it really did live up to the image I had in my head before I came away - true Ozzie fun!! So Sunday came and I'm glad I wasn't driving!! We came back via Nimbin - hmmmmmm, Nimbin. It is the Dope capital of Oz. They all sit around the streets just smoking the stuff - no one batts an eyelid - even the police don't care - they seem to view it with the opinion that if you keep it all in one place then it's better than being everywhere!! They sell hash cakes - of which we were offered but declined!! Does nothing for me and certainly didn't fancy falling off the Harley on the motorway!! Anyway, we continued heading north through all the mountains - it was just amazing. I had a very numb bum - we must have covered some serious Kms but it was worth every penny. Definately the best weekend so far in my travels!!

So today, I am just going to sunbathe and then I am meeting up with Lara who is a temp for Kelly - she is a Kiwi and is fab!! We going to have lunch and then just chill!! Can't wait!!

So I'll update you more in a few days time - hope you're all ok.

Lots of Love
